While it's awesome enough to have an online RPG on the DS, and even more awesome that it's the wonderful Phantasy Star Online, the communication feature is the most interesting part of the game: Phantasy Star Zero allows players to speak via stylus drawings. That seems much more useful than, and equally enjoyable as, the Symbol Chat system from the original game.

Sounds awesome, if the gameplay is somewhat enjoyable, this should be a hit.

I'd prefer a real Phantasy Star on the DS as in part 5, not these Online or Universe games. I'd even take a part 1 or 4 remake. 3 was a decent game but sucked when compared to the other games in the series as it just didn't seem to fit, and while 2 was better than 3, 2 wasn't interesting.
Oh well, Phantasy Star means something totaly different these days and i'm not saying the newer games aren't good, I just prefer the 1-4 series.

Well Phantasy Star is something different then PSO.
I love both series, but see them as different series just with same style and partly same enemies.
Yeah i would have liked a PS Collection-remake thing for DS. But i also love to hear that PSO hits the DS. I am still playing PSO on DC/NGC as well as I play some older PS titles on GP2X ;)
This news makes me happy!
