DS releases for the week of June 26th

Hi Hi Puffy screen shotIn case you didn't get enough Sudoku Mania last week, this week you can try Sudoku Gridmaster. Among both game's features are "mental anguish," "feelings of inferiority" and "brain hemorrages."

Of course, everyone is going to be talking about Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest with the movie due out in early July. But, I have to spend a minute and talk about Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. Rather than using swords, guns or fancy moves, in this game players use the "powers of rock and roll" to defeat their enemies.  Your only weapon: instruments. This brings the band geek to a whole new level!

DS Releases

  • Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi: The Genie & the Amp
  • Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans' Chest
  • Sudoku Gridmaster

Gameboy Advance

  • Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans' Chest

As always, availability is subject to manufacturer delivery. Also, the more you whine about Scurge, the further the publishers promise to push it back.

1. The Puffy Amiyumi game sounds fun, though I never saw the series. Might import it as there's bleep all chance of it coming out here in the UK.

2. Well, if whining makes them push it back, then how's this:

Thank you, Orbital Media, for delaying Scurge for so long! We realize that these delays allow more time to make the game better, so thank you for doing so in order to produce a top-quality game. I think I speak for the entire gaming community when I praise your generosity and look up to your wonderful sacrifice just for us gamers who you have shown you hold dear to your hearts. Once again, I thank you for delaying your wonderful game, Scurge, so that you may make it an even more wonderful game!

There, now let's see them handle THAT top-notch reverse psychology!

P.S. - If you are a representative of Orbital Media, Inc. then please forget that you read the last sentence, above this post-script. I believe it will benefit us all for you to not realize my plan to trick you.

3. What about Superman Returns DS? I thought that it was going to be released along with the PSP and GBA versions today - but the 360 and PS2 versions would ship in October?
