(Page 1)2. My girlfriend almost bought this bundle even though she has no interest in the game or case and she already has a DS Lite.

3. I thought the point of a bundle was to lower the price for two or more things that you were going to buy anyway.

4. Remember when you could ONLY buy bundles? I would acertain that the used video game market being so strong would push manufacturers to do this more!
My NES bundle was nice, Mario and Duck hunt. I did avoid the SNES bundle, and opted for the system and a copy of Link to the Past. Sadly, Super Mario World is a great game, but everyone else had it.
I do prefer the Wii style budle, where the game is basically "thrown in", as opposed to a bundle that costs more for a game you dont have a choice about buying. I see this as a way for Nintendo to push some consumers over the edge, making them buy that DS they have just considered.
Did anyone buy the "control deck" only NES set anyway?

5. I've been waiting for a good bundle as an excuse to upgrade to a Lite for ages, so I'm all for bundles at the moment!

6. Yes, bundles that save you money over buying the individual components are nice, but that doesn't seem to be where the market is headed.
However, I could not have less regret for my purchase of a Wii pre-order bundle from Walmart. Walmart took their online preorders about three weeks before launch, and I totally lucked out in catching the 10 minute window of availability before they sold out (thanks CAG!). At that point in time, lots of naysayers thought there would be a repeat of GameCube launch day, and that they'd be able to waltz in and purchase a Wii after the rush had died down. Were they ever wrong! I was sooo glad for having stuck to my guns and gone with the bundle in order to get a preorder.
However, it was a pretty sweet bundle as those things go: 4 games of users choice (I chose Zelda, Monkey Ball, Rayman, and Excite Truck), a Wii points card, second nunchuck, and second remote. You know, things you'd actually want. The awesomest thing is that Walmart accepted in-store returns and exchanges on the games (when one of my games was delayed, I purchased it elsewhere and returned the Walmart copy once it arrived).
The whole thing was a very positive experience for me, and I would absolutely pre-order another hot-ticket item from Walmart in the future, even if forced to accept a bundle.

7. My boyfriend purchased this bundle after I mentioned it, since he had been wanting an upgrade from the phat to the lite. The only thing holding him back was BrainAge2 since, of course, it wasn't just a throw-in. So, he played it at Toys 'R Us and thought it was an okay game and since we didnt't have, nor had we played the first BrainAge, it ended up being a good buy. The case sucks, it only looks nice. But he uses it anyway.
The crimson/black Lite compared to my pink Lite doesn't have the depreciated screen brightness so talked about on the net. Plus, it's speakers are louder than my own. It seems like an upgrade of quality and I bet it doesn't have any problems with the cracked hinges we hear about.

8. Well, I feel similarly to "AbbadonTD". That is, I like the bundles that seem to have "bonuses" thrown in, such as free stuff or exclusives. However, I absolutely hate bundles, required or not, that force you to buy a number of games and whatnot just to get the system. If I want those games, I'll get them individually, not feel forced to buy them (often at launch) and end up with duds. I don't know, just the whole idea of them telling me how much I should buy when I buy my system irks me.

9. Bought the bundle, kept the DS Lite and the case, gave the game to my brother's fiance since she said she wanted the game cause she's geeky like that. Originally, I would've traded the game in for store credit.

10. I got my Wii in a bundle from Walmart's website in early July because I really, really wanted the system, but I couldn't be bothered to try and find one locally. The only thing in the bundle that I wasn't planning to get was a copy of Big Brain Academy -- otherwise, I got three games that I was interested in (four if you count Wii Sports), useful accessories, and 2000 Wii Points.
And I was still a little miffed about being forced into doing the bundle. The final price was a lot to swallow all at once. Still, I haven't felt the need to get anything else for the system yet, so at least I've gotten my value out of it that way.

11. I usually like bundles, and I bought the DS Brain Age 2 bundle specifically because of the new colour & for Brain Age 2. Win/Win for me! (aside from the screen issue which surprisingly doesn't bother me that much... maybe because I don't own a previous DS Lite)

12. My Pokémon Dialga & Palkia DS Lite came in a Bundle Pak from PokemonCenter.com for $330. It included both games, 3 pins, and a Prima Strategy Guide. I know, a bit of a ripoff, but it was better than paying $400 or $500 just for the system by itself off of Ebay...and it's covered by warranty in the US even though it's an import, because I registered it on MyNintendo account :p

1. Well, I usually avoid bundles. And, personally, I think the red and black DS looks tacky. Give me straight black or straight red!
But hey, I'm stick rockin my silver phat anyway. ;3
