WRUP: If you can see me, it's too late edition

When
Assassin's Creed released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in the latter quarter of last year, it was received with loving, open arms. The game sold well and we're sure Ubisoft is planning sequels. Nothing all too crazy there. But, word then came that
a DS game was going to be released with the
Assassin's Creed name, as well.
And,
it looks decent. With the game
releasing this week, we were wondering how many of you were looking forward to taking over as the assassin Altair? Do you plan to play the DS game? Did you play the Xbox 360 game? What are you playing?

Bomberman Land Touch! 2. Assassin's Creed is supposed to be rather short.

I've been playing it since the day before yesterday.
It's not too bad, but there a few things that bother me to no end.
Such as getting pinned up against walls by 5 guards at a time, running behind some walls and not being able to see my character anymore, and a few other small issues.
other than that, it's decent.

I was alerted by Gamefly this morning that AC DS is on its way to me. If I got my timing right, Layton on to be on its way next.

Okay, assassin's creed DS is probably the worst DS game I have ever played. I mean, come on! What DS game has loading times greater than 4 seconds? And the controls...oh, don't get me started on the controls

Thats just your opinion... the loading times has to be over 4 seconds cause you can't expect the loading time just to be the loading itself... it still has to render the data and that takes time aswell.
I for my own find this game awesome ! The acrobatic moves, the stealth element and the prince of persia action just plain rocks, yeah the camera perspective would have been better if it had been 3rd Person, but I guess for certein puzzles the sidescroller perspective is just better.

Well, I played Assassinīs Creed, but got bored too soon; the "tell me everything I need to know while I play EBA with your body" is strange, the stealth part is just "walk slow to do not wake up the guard" (toe Jam & Earl, anyone?), and the camera looks drunk sometimes, specially while flying to show the way. It is not SO bad, but really could be better.

I'm in love with Puzzle Quest & Bomberman Land Touch 2 at the moment. Assassin's Creed just didn't look that great to me. Seemed a bit overhyped to be honest.

Nothing at ALL wrong with being addicted to Puzzle Quest. That game makes me happier to be alive than alcohol...

Worse-than-PS1 loading times, sloppy controls that aren't accurate enough for the precise jumping puzzles in the game, swordplay that isn't as good as other DS games I've played *cough* Pirates of the Caribbean 2 *cough*, a crappy Elite Beat Agents minigame, and moving keys through a maze of some dude's purse. What is to like about this game?
Also, shame for being bested by a movie license. Heck, I've even found odd glitches and deaths that shouldn't have happened on a regular basis. At least PotC had the sense to be released AFTER bug-testing.

i played it and honestly.... i thought that it would be different... nothing special about it, the visuals were nice for a ds game.

Well... the graphics are pretty decent, but 10 seconds loadings????
Also, the game is so lineal, i donīt know if it really uses the 3d: itīs just an arcade game, Go from point A to B. There arenīt sidequests, or hidden objects.
Why ifyou are an assasin you canīt jump a crate, but instead you have tu jump on the roofs??

I'm determined to finish up the first Phoenix Wright soon! This last case is a beast. I love the game I just have to finish so I can think about other things!
After that I'll go back to Puzzle Quest and Pokemon Diamond. I thought about getting Assassin's Creed when I saw it at a game store ("That's out already?") but decided to wait until some reviews came out... and it looks like I made a good decision.

I doubt I'll be buying this one anytime soon, if at all. I've played it a bit on a 360. Meh....I dunno...didn't do it for me. I'm still dealing with Zelda:PHG and I finally, today, seriously started Puzzle Quest...and I've a feeling it's going to suck me in big-time. I messed with it a few times after getting it, set it aside as I got totally into Zelda but now...ooooboy! I'm also digging AC:WW again as I'm keeping it, for most of the time, in my DS phat cuz the hubby is back completely almost into the MMO (EQ2). Although we have found that we like, of all things, playing with that bowling game in Clubhouse Games, when we don't feel like reading before the lights out time! Clubhouse Games has been a real surprise for me, overall. I'd have never bought it I think but I'm glad someone gave it to me for Christmas.

Fun game like PoP which is a good thing. If you want load times play PSP (I have one and love it) these are like 2 sec long. geez. Great game so far, I am enjoying it.
