Angry loon destroys his DS

If you can't stand seeing cruelty to electronics, you'd best look away now. Here we have a man claiming to be angry at his DS and, instead of selling it or getting some decent games for it (we might suggest Brain Age, in this case), chooses to destroy it in a completely unspectacular manner. Well, sir, you now have your fleeting moment of desperate attention fame! Only now we'll have to be completely childish and point out that you no longer have a DS. Ha, you lose.

[Thanks, nintendude!]

21. Maybe he was a victim of the notorious "DS Bricker" virus. His vocabulary seems to indicate that he's somewhat of a gaming geek.
I expect it still works though ;). I also expect he ran over it a few times before the camera started.

25. Well...there goes a perfectly good wireless controller for your PC...

Played some Emu's on the PC yesterday using the DS....it worked very well!

27. owned?? what does he want? The DS to run and get out of the way???

but really tho, if he missed the DS... owned!! pwned!!

and of course, if the battery exploded and hit his gas tank, damn, that would be hilarious. :D

28. that was stupid, as everyone else said, I bet it still worked just the hinge was messed up.
I thought he was going to park on it them burn out right on top of it, or at least run over it several times. then that queer saying "owned" when it did'nt even looked that bad. those guys are idiots

29. That guy yelling "pwned" was about as cool as a bullet to the head. And the guy driving the car seems to have the maturity of a 10 year old, as there was a kid in elementary school who would say stupid shit like "this is pissing me off...so it must DIE"

Then he gets in his car, starts it, and, like the cool kid he is, rolls down his window to announce "it will DIE"

The DS didn't even seem to suffer much damage. Notice how the video ends before they try to turn it on. Lame.

I would have sold it on eBay or at some gaming store.

If you REALLY wanna kill a Nintendo product, at least make the video mildly funny.

30. I've been avoiding commenting on this but the more I think about it (gah what a waste of cycles) the more I can't help but think how stupid this is.

The camera man was trying to be cool, emphasis on trying.

Running over a tiny game player with a car isn't very original, but even worse backing out of your parking spot and then driving over it at a leisurely 5 MPH is even dumber. That's about as creative as hitting a empty pop can while driving to work.

While I'm not going to destroy my own stuff as most people pointed out there is always someone willing to buy it. I could think of a ton of more exciting things to do to it other than running over it once. It looked to me that other than snapping the hinge that it'd power back on and the screens didn't look cracked at all. That's a tough little booger. I don't think the PSP would have fared as well.

31. OMG!! I can't believe he did that! OMGWTF! What a n00b!! I wanted to do it first!! Nintendo is dead, man. Oh, look, he's an idiot. He'd rather break his DS than sell it... The idiot is the one that buys that for money. I'd buy it for half a bean.

32. Yeah, I would bet anything that the DS would still work if they tried to turn it on.

btw, what was the big black box that was stuck to the back of the DS? You can see it at the end when he turns it over (0:59).
