DS mega list shows Phoenix Wright 2, more

If you thought Reggie was skilled at assaulting posteriors and acquiring names, you'd best beware of the author of one highly comprehensive fact sheet that was pulled from Nintendo's press website. A tipster sent us the document in question and, upon reading the list of currently planned titles and their projected release dates, we experienced something that could best be described as a seizure of delight. If the epic list is to be believed, zany courtroom adventure (and DS Fanboy favorite) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is receiving a sequel in October. The rest of the document also contains a bunch of unannounced titles (none of them from Konami) and some specific release dates, including one for Star Fox DS. Another click will take you to the complete list. Trust us, it's a good read.

[Thanks, Ryan F!]

1. Where is the U.S. Version of Bleach. Come on Sega, I have been waiting for this game. I might as well import it.

Posted at 6:55AM on May 10th 2006 by jj

2. This. Is. Just. Awesome.

I think I ripped my wallet, because its currently empty and there's around 20 games I want to get (just for the DS), not including the Wii and the games i'd like to get for Wii.

Why, Nintendo... Why do you torture us like this giving us a LOT of games in a relatively short time(and money?)

3. I love Sudoku !

4. That is one LOOOOOONG list. Definitely some interesting titles in there. Top of my list is Cooking Mama, Star Fox (if it's like the original), Elite Beat Agents sounds interesting, and of course Phoenix Wright 2. Lego Star Wars 2 should be fun too but I'm curious about how they're going to make it different. The original console version is awesome.

5. In September we have Mario Hoops 3-on-3,
Mario vs. Donkey Kong? 2, Pokémon® Mystery Dungeon, Star Fox® DS, Dragon Quest Heroes,
and Final Fantasy III all coming out! That's just insane.

6. The little debit card I have weeps.

7. It appeared from the demo reel shown at the press event that "Elite Beat Agents" might be none other than "Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan" in translation? Google can't find anything for me, but it would be cool if this were the case. Anyone have any thoughts?

Posted at 12:39PM on May 10th 2006 by Eric M

8. Elite Beat Agents is indeed "Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!"

But I think it's probably OTO 2 since it looks a little different...

Oh, and before getting hopes on Phoenix Wright, the game might actually be Gyakuten Saiban 4 (the fourth in the series, being made for the DS, but no Phoenix & Co).
Not that I still wouldn't like it :)

9. XD never mind that nonsense I just posted about Phoenix.

http://www.capcom.com/news/news.xpml?prid=650059

It is a DS version of GS 2 *gasm*

Posted at 3:08PM on May 10th 2006 by Crux

10. Elite Beat Agents isn't a translated Ouendan it's a completly new game for the American audience with new songs and new story.

There is a webpage hosted by Nintendo at their offical website listing all the DS games revealed at E3 well most of them with screen shots. Including a number of the wii games.

Posted at 4:01PM on May 10th 2006 by idioteraser

11. Reading this, I hope that the English Ouendan manages to keep the prior game's last song. That's been stuck in my head for weeks now.

12. Theres only 1 SEGA game
