What about you, fine reader?

2. Oh great: it's Powerpuff Girls Z, that crappy loli anime knockoff show which is about 741,337 times less enjoyable than the original. I am really suprised it hasn't been parodied or even mentioned - you would think CN would want to capitalize on it.

3. Uh, wow.
This just reeks of generic japanese television huh?
Looks just like another Tweety and the magic gems, that was an awful GBA game rip off of Mario Party featuring the looney tunes bunch trying to rescue tweety from becoming a statue.
You can already buy this game, but I doubt you'd even want to.

4. Hate to burst anyone's bubble here, but PowerPuff Girls Z has been around since 2005. It's a joint venture of Cartoon Network, Toei, and Aniplex and does not involve PowerPuff Girls Creator, Craig McCracken, in any part.
However, given the rate at which Cartoon Network absorbs anime programs here in the US, I would not be too surprised if it eventually makes it state-side under the Funimation label.

1. Is it really a surprise that Japan still loves these gigantic-eyed, über-cute cartoon characters?
I'll tell you what was a surprise. That they were still included in the Cartoon Network Racing game for the DS that came out a few months ago.
Actually, I don't think any of the characters in that game (Power Puff Girls, Cow & Chicken, Courage, Dexter, Johnny Bravo) are still on Cartoon Network.
