Crimson Black DS releases sans bundle October 3rd?

Of course, we've all seen the store displays saying it was releasing in October, but when exactly? Rumor has it, the thing will be on sale soon. So, if you're one of the folks who held off even though it was bundled with a fine title (see: us), you should be able to get your hands on one soon enough.

Word hits via Toys R Us' website that the unit will be available on its own for purchase come October 3rd. This is merely a rumor at this point, but it isn't stopping us from crossing our fingers, closing our eyes tight and whispering "pleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease." And, since the thing is going to Japan without a bundle on October 4th, we're willing to believe.

Yeah, I'm with LeChuck, my black is fine until Enamel Navy comes out, at which point I'll trade it in or something since my shoulder buttons are being retarded. Hopefully they'll fix them this time when I send it in for repairs.

I got the bundle the day they launched it, my 1st ds, until then I had been using my sister's pink (gag me). I love it, especially the matte black, except I can't really find accessories to match that don't have Mario on them. I saw this great holder in aqua but since this is half red the clashi-ness would bug me. I had been coveting the enamel blue and seriously thinking about spending the 200 bucks to import, ultimately if it gets released in the US I know I'm gonna end up owning 2 ds.
